Roda is located 41 Km NW of Corfu-City and has a population of about 400. Roda and Acharavi (37 Km NW of Corfu-city, pop 1.100) share an 8 Km logn beach with fine sand and crystal clear waters. The area is littered with archaeological finds.

At the top of Mount Pantokrator, which is the island's tallest mountain, is a Monastery with the same name. From there, you can see the whole island and as far as Albania.
