NEW CONTROL SYSTEM
A new control system based on an Omron PLC is replacing all of the older types of Demag control systems, like DC, SPS, KLS and NCII with and without screen. The new control system is combined with an ESA touch screen monitor and NOVOTECHNIC linear potentiometers. Speeds, pressures, times, programs and counters can be adjusted on the monitor with many possibilities. Temperatures are controlled by four independent PID temperature controllers. The communication language of the screen is English, German and Greek but can potentially include any other language. The outputs of the PLC are not connected directly with the solenoids of the valves but through microrelays. That way we protect the PLC from feedback current of the solenoids. The result is a very reliable and practically limitless life of our electronic system.
